Lola's Candles

Recently, for our engagement Andy and I were given this gorgeous french pear soy candle from some lovely friends. It is so delicious and such a treat, it has lifted my spirits the last few days while I have been feeling a little under the weather. You should definitely check them out here, Sarah makes them in lots of pretty little jars and tins in all kinds of scents.

Connect

On Saturday a wonderful friend organised an incredible 'connect' time for the young adults at our church to get to know each other, and the church a little better.

We had sunshine, coffee, delightful baking, testimonies of God's Grace, dodgeball, wonderful speakers, delish curry, and a lovely time connecting with others.

Mothers Day

 I have the most wonderful, most beautiful mum.

She makes amazing french toast, 

she is really good at looking after people, 

and she plays a mean game of scrabble.

Adventure Saturday

Adventure Saturday is definitely a highlight of our week!

This time we went for a wee walk out to the windmills to suss out the pretty view of Welly, and nom some fejoas (my fave!)

Also came across a heap of tiny butterflies. And an Ostrich that tried to eat me.

All in all 2.5 hours of adventure fun with my bestie.
